Lawrence "Larry" Dexter Ball, 70, of Grantsville

Lawrence "Larry" Dexter Ball, 70, of Grantsville WV, formerly of Elizabeth died March 24, 2019 at Minnie Hamilton Health System Long Term Care, due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.

He was born in Parkersburg WV on June 1, 1948 a son of the late Dexter and Naomi Summers Ball.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila K. Nichols Ball and brother-in-law, Lacy Fitzwater.

He is survived by sister, Joyce Fitzwater; niece, Trisha (Roger) Triplett; nephew, Dustin Fitzwater; great-niece, Tara (Allen) Tanner; and great-great-niece, Lacey Tanner, all of Clay County.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to everyone at Minnie Hamilton Long Term Care for the years of kindness, concern, and loving care given to Larry.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Cemetery, Rt. 5, Grantsville WV with Rev. Rick Metheney and Rev. Craig Blankenship officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Services will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV.
