DODD CHARGED WITH GRAND LARCENY IN CALHOUN THEFT - Regional Arrests

A Big Bend man, Jacob M. Dodd, 30 (right) has been arrested by the Calhoun Sheriffs Department and charged with grand larceny, fleeing with reckless indifference and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Dodd and his girlfriend Nikki Huneycutt reportedly stole numerous items from his mother's house at Big Bend, items worth more than $1,000, including a camera, a weedeater, a chainsaw and other items. According to a criminal complaint Deputy C. J. Myers attempted to stop a high speed vehicle last weekend in south Grantsville, with Dodd fleeing on foot.

When Dodd exited the vehicle he allegedly dropped a container with meth and also dropped an abandoned German Sheppard puppy.

Nikki Huneycutt, 31 (right) was arrested earlier in Gilmer County and charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of CDS without prescription and a person prohibited from firearm.

She is in Central Regional Jail.

Roane authorities have arrested Jeff Mace and charged him with 3rd offense DUI and simple possession. He is in Central Regional Jail.

Also arrested from Roane is Teresa Lynn Casto, 51, was felony charged with possession of a controlled substance and is in Central Regional Jail.
