Heisel Ledsome 83, of Reedy WV passed away March 17, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg WV July 21, 1935 the son of the late Tona and Bessie (Wilson) Ledsome.
He served in the United States Army, and worked for the Roane County Board of Education as a Bus Driver and Mechanic from 1967-1989.
He loved farming and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Myrtle (Lott) Ledsome; 2 children, Angie Harper (Bud) and Eddie Ledsome all of Reedy;
grandchildren, Jessica Hewitt (John), Jamie Hammons (Brad) and Chad Harper (Maddie) all of Reedy; great grandchildren, Brock, Bria and Brissa Hewitt, Bryan Harper, Colton, Parker, and Hunter Hammons.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son Rodney Ledsome.
In accordance with his wishes a private service will be held at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV. Burial will be at Good Hope Cemetery of Reedy WV. |
