ROANE WOMAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER FOLLOWING STABBING

A Roane County woman has been charged with attempted first degree murder and malicious assault in the head stabbing of Matthew Johnston on Spring Creek Road. Incarcerated is Danielle Joeliene Olsson, 35 with bail set at $15,000.00. According to the criminal complaint, Johnston said he was at the residence because he and his girlfriend had broken up. Johnston claimed that he and Olsson had gotten into an argument over two $100 bills, one being counterfeit, physical and mental abuse of Olsson's sister and refusing to leave when requested. Olsson told police that she and Johnston engaged in a physical altercation and began wrestling, when she stabbed him, saying that "he deserved more."
