Eva Anderson Stout, age 74, of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life in the early morning hours of Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown WV, following a sudden illness.She was born November 12, 1944 in Monroe County WV, daughter of the late Eulice and Virginia Wykle Anderson. Eva was a graduate of Glenville High School, class of 1962 and along with her husband Bill, Eva was co-owner and operator of Stouts True Value Hardware in Glenville. Eva sold Mary Kay Cosmetics for several years and was active in many local organizations including the Red Hat Society, Women's Club, Glenville High School Alumni Association, and catering with Aramark. In her spare time Eva loved traveling, gardening, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, spoiling her nieces and nephews, home interior design, and hosting people at her home. On July 15, 1967 Eva was united in marriage to William H. "Bill" Stout who preceded her in death on April 20, 2010. Surviving are 8 siblings, Evelyn Anderson and husband David of Union WV, Michael Anderson of VA, Norman Anderson and wife Sharon of Glenville, Phyllis Anderson of Bridgewater VA, Ronnie Anderson and wife Cindy of Canton OH, Louie Smith and wife Barbara of Glenville, Danny Smith and wife Christine of Rock Hill SC, and Donald Smith and wife Carol of Jane Lew WV. Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and other family and friends. Along with her parents and husband, Eva is preceded in death by her son, Robert E. "Rob" Norman and 1 nephew, Doug Wilson. A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc., 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 with Rev. Kenny Fisher officiating. Burial will follow beside her husband in the Meadow Lane Cemetery near Glenville. Friends will be received from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. Friday at the mortuary in Glenville. Ellyson Mortuary, Inc is assisting the family of Eva Anderson Stout with arrangements. |
