Harold Wilbur Workman 82, of Spencer, West Virginia formerly of Boone County, West Virginia died March 8, 2019 at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, West Virginia. He was born January 17, 1937 in Boone County a son of the late Alvie Edison and Vivian Christine Mooney Workman. He was a coal miner and Christian and loved fishing and hunting. Harold is survived by his wife, Doris Darlene Kelley Workman; two sons, Danny and Russell Workman; one granddaughter, Miranda Workman; two great-grandchildren; two step-daughters, Jennifer Nida and Jeanette Shamblin; and two step-grandsons, Timothy and Kenny Shamblin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa; one son, Harold “Whitey”; one sister; and one brother. Per his request, the body was cremated. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no service or visitation at the funeral home.
