Timothy Ed Rhodes, 28, of Gandeeville

Timothy Ed Rhodes, 28, of Gandeeville, died Friday, February 22, 2019.

He was born August 11, 1990, at Spencer, the son of Lori Hackney Rhodes of Gandeeville and the late William J. Rhodes.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William and Mary Rhodes; maternal grandfather, Clair Hackney.

Timmy was an equipment operator and a member of the I.U.O.E., Local 132, Charleston. He had also worked as a diesel mechanic. Timmy was a 2009 graduate of Roane County High School where he played varsity football. He was an Eagle Scout.

In addition to his mother, survivors include two brothers, Travis (Dreama Anderson) Rhodes of Ripley and William Rhodes of Gandeeville; maternal grandmother, Lorene Hackney of Kenna; uncle, Thomas Rhodes; aunts, Mary (Robert) Clowser and Pauline (Raymond) Short; fiancee, Tammy Nichols of Spencer and her children, Nickie Nida, Robin Wilson and Daniel Nichols; her grandchildren, Maciah, Brooklyn and McKenzie.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 4 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Freddie Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Davis Cemetery, Cicerone. The visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday.
