WIND ADVISORY FOR CALHOUN AND REGION IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 8 PM EST SUNDAY ISSUED BY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.

Winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.

Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph for more an hour, or wind gusts of 46 to 57 mph for any duration are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
