![]() She was born September 11, 1936 in Tanner WV, daughter of the late Eustace and Ploma Grogg Frymier. Nyla is a graduate of Tanner High School, class of 1954 and a former cook for the Gilmer County Board of Education, having served the communities children for more than 23 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, camping, and was a big fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team. Nyla loved caring for her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and would spoil them whenever possible. On July 11, 1957 Nyla was united in marriage to John Jasper "Johnny" Poole, who survives at their Camden Flats home. Surviving are 3 children, Dorinda Buck and husband Steve of Williamstown WV, Mindy Nicholson and husband Mitch of New Milton WV, and Jason Poole and wife Amanda of Glenville; 3 siblings, Billy Joe Frymier and wife Linda of Tanner, Karen Alloway and husband Clyde of Belpre OH, and Jean Reed and husband Junior of Summersville WV. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, Jeremy Buck and wife Holly, Mitchell Buck and wife Sara, Sheena Gray and husband Roadie, and Isaac, Jacob, and Leah Poole, 7 great-grandchildren, Rylee and Rayme Gray, and Parker, Inessa, Gavin, Elyse, and Abigail Buck, and a host of other family and friends. Along with her parents, Nyla is preceded in death by 4 siblings, Judith Washburn, and Basil, Keith, and Jerry Frymier. A funeral service will be conducted at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. 2 Vanhorn Drive, Glenville, WV at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2019 with Rev. Kenny Fisher and Rev. Larry Flemming officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery near Tanner WV. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Saturday evening at the mortuary in Glenville.
