CALHOUN PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN ENROLLMENT INFORMATION

Calhoun County Universal Preschool now has enrollment packets available for parents to get children enrolled into Pre-K for the 2019-2020 school year. Enrollment packets may be picked up at Arnoldsburg Elementary, Pleasant Hill Elementary, or Calhoun County Board of Education during school hours.

All children who are 4 years old prior to July 1, 2019 are eligible to apply for enrollment.

Calhoun County Schools will be conducting Registration Fairs on the following dates:

Pleasant Hill Elementary on March 1, 2019 Call Deb Goff at 304-354-6022 or stop by the school to schedule an appointment.

Arnoldsburg Elementary on March 8, 2019, Call Cathy Dickey at 304-655-8616 or stop by the school to schedule an appointment.

The registration fairs are being set up to assist families in getting the necessary documentation for starting school. We will conduct developmental, hearing, vision, and dental screenings at the fairs.

All children applying for preschool must have the following documents prior to the beginning of the 2019-2020 school year.

⦁ Certified Birth Certificate (Vital Statistics Certificate from Charleston only)

⦁ Immunization Record

⦁ Preventative Health Screen with dental check and hemoglobin test (available through your physician)

⦁ Pre-K Universal Application Completed preschool packets are due by the date of the registration fairs.

Any child Birth to Three, thought to have developmental delays, is also eligible to be screened for possible services.
