Beulah Mae Hall, 81, of Virginia

(01/28/2019)
Beulah Mae Hall, 81, of Virginia, went to be with the Lord on January 24, 2019.

She was born on Feb. 3, 1937 to the late Lawrence Johnson and Myrtle Phipps of Clintwood, Virginia.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers Claude, Loyd, Don and one sister, Ruth.

She was the 9th born of 16 children. Beulah Mae or Mae as she was known by so many "because she never met a stranger" resided in the George Washington National Forest mountains of Vesuvius, Virginia, surrounded by her beloved pets, trout streams, blue skies, her beautiful flowers, and vegetable and Herb gardens.

She loved the outdoors. She loved God, her family, friends, animals, reading, music, and helping others. She loved to sing and listen to her children, that she raised on her own, play and sing. She was so proud of and loved her grandchildren. For a short-time she came to live with her son Ted and Sherry Hall of Millstone, WV, but her heart remained in Virginia.

With her courage, she led us to believe that each day and persons you meet is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Until we meet again she will be greatly missed every day and will forever remain in our hearts. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

She is survived by her sons Ted and Sherry Hall of Millstone WV, Jack and Sue Hall of Lexington VA and her daughter Linda Kay Hall of NC; her grandchildren, Ryan, Angelica, Ariella, Steven, and Jackson Luke, all of VA; sisters, Betty Sue, Doris, Thelma, Carol, Evelyn, Ruby, and Naomi; brothers, Bill, Charlie, Paul, Henry, Jack and all their spouses; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Ricky Allen, Matt, JT, Esteban, and all her beloved pets.

A gathering for a celebration of her life will be held at a future date to be set by the family for her in the spring in Virginia.

Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. of Arnoldsburg, WV is honored to assist the Hall family.
