GUN ACTION - A Fayette County man is facing multiple charges after he is accused of pulling a gun on deputies Saturday morning.

Chad O. Aldridge, 30, of Oak Hill is charged with five counts of being a prohibited person in possession of firearms, three counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, three counts of brandishing a deadly weapon, and three counts of obstruction, according to a news release from the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.

Saturday morning, deputies responded to a domestic complaint on Corliss Road. The release said when they tried to take Aldridge into custody, he began to fight with deputies.

At one point, the release said Aldridge was able to break free from deputies and grab a rifle. He was subdued before he was able to use the weapon.

Aldridge is being held in the Southern Regional Jail on $50,000 bond.
