Paul Eugene Gregg, 78, of Petroleum WV died January 8, 2019, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born January 11, 1940 at Berea WV, the son of the late T. Nile Gregg and the late Gail Gump. Mr. Gregg was a retired hard working iron worker. He was a member of the Iron Workers Union, Local 787, Parkersburg. He was an Honorably Discharged Army veteran PFC, who served from 21 February 1958 until 24 February 1961, and received the 'sharpshooter' marksmanship badge. His family extends their gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the staff on the Fourth floor ICU at the VAMC, Pittsburgh for their care during the final days of his illness. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Matheny-Whited Funeral Home, Elizabeth WV is in charge of arrangements.
