PROPHETS THUMB WILL PERFORM IN CHARLESTON - West Virginia Music Conference February 8th

Prophets Thumb, a local alternative rock band based in Arnoldsburg will be performing at the annual West Virginia Music Conference in Charleston on February 8th. The Music Conference, formerly known as the Kanawapalooza, is an event dedicated to the promotion of unsigned musicians and original music.

The goal of the Conference is to provide education, networking opportunities and resources for the independent musician. It is also a charity event to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Southern WV. WVMC runs for two days, February 7-8, with seminars given by professionals in the music industry and performances by many independent artists at various venues in the Charleston area. Prophets Thumb band members include Steve and Patsy Buvoltz of Arnoldsburg, Lynn and Melanie Degen of Chloe, and Doug Bottenfield of Spencer. The have been playing together for about a year, practicing down home on "The Ranch" three nights a week, writing music, and working on a CD.
