MY HOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED - It's Wood Whacking Time

There once was a time that state highway workers laboriously mowed and cut the brush along the roadways, a couple times or more a year. Then came mechanization, and some years workers would dutifully use the brushwhacker rather carefully, but it seems that in 2019 they have been ordered to just give it a whack, leaving behind a rather ugly mess, with the tops just being cut off, certainly not pleasing to the eye, shown here near the world headquarters of the Hur Herald
