Verlon Lloyd Truman, 78, of Spencer, died December 23, 2018, at home. He was a Christian and attended the Apostolic Faith Chapel, in Spencer. Survivors include sisters, Sheri Wilcox of Vienna, Cathy Beall of Spencer, Regina Francis of Hurricane and Tina Kuhn of Ripley; and brother, Mike Truman of Hurricane. Verlon was preceded in death by his father, Denver Truman; mother, Mattie Cottrell Truman; first wife, Gusto Falls Truman; second wife, Sharon Truman; infant son; sister, Marlena Truman Hicks; and brother, Loyal Truman. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Jeffrey Jett officiating.
