Russell Howard Sampson, 70, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, died Thursday, January 30,
2003 at Charleston Area Medical Center, Charleston, WV.
He is survived by three sons, Russell Lee Rogers of Massillon, Ohio, Dickie Lee Sampson of
Elizabeth, WV and Timothy Russell Sampson of Flint, WV; daughter, Melissa Jean Lane of
Calhoun County, WV; five grandchildren Cody Joe Rogers, Ashley Anna Mary Sampson,
Victoria Ann Sampson, Brandie Marie Sampson and Warren Scott Lane. Also surviving are
sisters, Stella Tanner of Massillon, Ohio and Lerine Stanley of Ohio; brothers, Robert and
Harold Sampson both of Arnoldsburg, WV and Elmer Sampson of Spencer, WV.
Mr. Sampson was preceded in death by his parents William R. and Gracie M. Jackson
Sampson; brothers, Cecil, George, Andy and Ross Sampson; sisters, Mary Hall and Linda
Butler.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg is in
charge of arrangements.
