CJ MYERS IS NEW COUNTY DEPUTY SHERIFF

(12/30/2018)

Effective December 28th C. J. Myers was officially reclassified as a Deputy Sheriff, according to Calhoun County Sheriff, Jeff Starcher.

Myers began his career in law enforcement as Chief of the Confinement Operations Division of the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office in November, replacing Seth Ulderich.

Sheriff Starcher said that Myers will remain the officer-in-charge of the Confinement Operations Division, and will be attending the West Virginia State Police Academy, likely in the Summer of 2019.

Sheriff Starcher stated that Myers will be authorized to answer calls upon his successful completion of a field training program.

Prior to joining the Calhoun County Sheriff's Department, Myers was an EMT-B with the Roane County Emergency Squad.
