CHRISTMAS DAY SHOOTING - The Marion County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Christmas Day during the evening hours in the Montana Mines community in Marion county.

According to police, the shooting occurred around 8 p.m.

The victim, Peggy Lee Sanders, 34, of Fairmont, later died as a result of the shooting.

No other details are being released as of this time, due to the ongoing investigation.

MAN SHOOTS SELF IN WALMART - A man is dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound inside of a store.

Martinsburg Police responded to the Walmart along Foxcroft Avenue at around 8 Wednesday night. Upon arrival, officers found the victim's body in a rear bathroom of the store.

No foul play is suspected. Berkeley County's medical examiner also responded to the scene.

The store was open and occupied by customers at the time of the incident.

MORGANTOWN ARMED ROBBERY - Police are looking for a man who robbed Subway on Patteson Drive on Thursday morning.

Emergency radio traffic described the suspect as a black man with a black hooded jacket, black pants and white shoes. He's reportedly 6-feet tall and 160 pounds, with a goatee.

It was reported the man told the clerk he had a gun and took an unknown amount of cash. He was seen running toward Raleigh Lane and WVU security cameras caught him running past Lincoln Hall.

As of 10:15 a.m., officers were searching the area of University Avenue and Sunnyside.
