Mary "Frances" Hays, 95, of Boaz, WV

Mary "Frances" Hays, 95, of Boaz, WV, passed away December 22, 2018, in Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

She was born January 28, 1923, in, Harmony, WV, a daughter of the late John Ollie and Lucy Alice (Noyse) Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hays and five siblings.

Frances was a proud homemaker, she would often baby sit many children around the Parkersburg area and loved being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, Vienna and enjoyed traveling and baking.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Charlotte Reed, Charles Hays Jr., Janet Summers, Michael Hays, Ricky Hays, Sherry Winship; 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Service will be 12 p.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Fellowship Baptist Church, Vienna, with Pastor Jon Lands officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
