| A woman was arrested after being accused of pulling a chunk of hair from a child's head in Gilmer County.
According to the criminal complaint, officers responded to a school on Thursday after a patch of hair was discovered missing from a child's head.
Officials say the child with a missing patch of hair was already part of a Child Protective Services case.
Police say that the child told the doctor during a visit her hair was pulled by Alicia Wyant, 33.
According to the complaint, Wyant had lied to officers.
Wyant is charged with child abuse resulting in injury and obstructing an officer.
