Roy Eugene Delaney, 81, of Reedy, West Virginia passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Miletree Center in Spencer, West Virginia. He was born December 22, 1936 in Roane County, a son of the late Hazel and Della Delaney. He was retired from Constellium Rolled Products of Ravenswood, West Virginia and attended the Good Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Reedy. He is survived by his wife Barbara Delaney of Reedy; a son, Rick (Lisa) Delaney of Spencer; two daughters Tammy (Don) Roberts of Leroy, West Virginia and Kelly (Kurt) Limpert of Florida; brother, Bob Delaney of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren, Jessica (Drew) Theys, Matthew (Morgan) Roberts, Luke (Nicole) Limpert and Shelby (Adam) Limpert; two great grandchildren Charlotte and Allana. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Clark Delaney. Services will held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME in Spencer with the Rev. John Price officiating. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery in Reedy. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
