Margaret Joyce "Joy" Malona Bush, 78, of Parkersburg

Margaret Joyce "Joy" Bush, 78, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Joy was born in Calhoun Co., on July 8, 1940, to the late C.O. Malona and Catherine R. Westfall Malona. She was a retired factory worker, mother and She was well-loved by the community and was a loving friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her. She loved cooking, canning, music, tennis and golf. She was a Christian with a love of Jesus.

Joy is survived by her daughter Deanna R. Bush, her son, Cletus N. (Cristine) Bush, both of Williamstown, WV; granddaughters Diana Marie (Cameron) McGee, Bellington, WV, and Katheryn A. Bush, Williamstown WV; grandson Patrick Bush, of Winter Haven, Fla. and great grandsons Owen, Corey and Jamison. She is also survived by her brothers, Charles Owen Malona Jr. and Jerry Malona (Phyllis), Grantsville, WV; and many nieces and nephews she loved dearly. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ernestine "Tiny" Carson and Doris Marie "Muggs" Roberts, and brother in law John Paul Roberts.

As a testament of Joy's devotion to others, she donated her body to WVU Human Gift Registry. There will be no funeral, but a Celebration of Life will take place in the future.
