Margaret Marlene Vineyard, 80, of Arnoldsburg

Margaret Marlene Vineyard, 80, of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, passed away Wednesday December 5, 2018 at Roane General Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Clay County, West Virginia on March 11, 1938 and attended Roane County High School. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Spencer State Hospital. Margaret enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing cards.

Marlene is preceded in death by her husband Earl F. Vineyard, father Patrick O'Dell, mother Elizabeth O'Dell Mullins, brothers William O'Dell, Leon O'Dell, Paul O'Dell, Patrick Jr. O'Dell, sisters Arlene Cobb and Helen Carper.

She is survived by her children Debbie Cox, Earl "Flip" Vineyard, and David Vineyard (Lora Davis) of Arnoldsburg, WV; grandchildren Kala Burgett (Bryce) of Fredericktown, OH, Victoria Vineyard of Washington, OH, Cole Vineyard (Katelyn) of Spencer, WV, Ross, Hayes, and Zane Vineyard of Arnoldsburg, WV, and Garrett Vineyard of Kenna, WV; brother Eugene O'Dell of Spencer, WV; great-grandchildren Bristol and William Barrett Burgett of Fredericktown, OH and Emery Johnson of Washington, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Upon her prior request there will be no service. Her ashes will be spread at a later date at her favorite hunting spot on the family farm.
