She was a retired employee of Spencer State Hospital and a home maker.

Kathy was the daughter of the late Hubert Carl Cook.

She is survived by: Husband, Bobbie G. Carr; mother, Elva Ruth Drake Cook; son, Gary (Brenda) Cook; step children, Robert Carr, Deena Bellamy and Carla Lucas; sisters, Nancy Cook and Jennifer Crowley; grandchildren, Savannah Jo, Brittney, Wesley, Jessica, William and Nikki; great - grandchildren, Eliza, Kylie and Ethan; and furry friend, Honey Bear.

The visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, December 9, at Matics Funeral Home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Pastor Justin Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery Clendenin.
