Gary Stephen Haid, 64, of Spencer, died November 23, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg. He was born November 9, 1954 at Montgomery, the son of the late Augustus Junior and Wanda Lee Cooper Haid. Gary was a former lab technician at Roane General Hospital. He was a former employee of Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood and a former over the road truck driver. His pastimes included watching sports, especially football, and old movies. Also, he enjoyed cooking, going shopping with his wife and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife, of 19 years, Janice Haid of Spencer; two stepsons, Daniel Goodwin of Reedy and Gary Goodwin, Jr. of Parkersburg; seven step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Rita Dye. His funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 27 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev.
