She was born June 20, 1968 in Grantsville to the late John Greathouse and Pearl Carpenter.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her long-time companion Georgie Nichols; daughter Misty Nichols; and grandchildren, Maeson, McKenlea and Greyson Grogg; sister, Hazel Lamp; brothers, Eddie Greathouse and Jamie Carpenter; and long-time boyfriend, Timothy Holt; several step children; step grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a "mom and grandmother," to many and will be sadly missed.

In addition to her father, Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Frankie Greathouse.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service.
