UPDATE: WV AGAIN MOST UNHEALTHY STATE IN USA - Highest Obesity, Diabetes, Addiction

For another year, West Virginia is topping the list as the most unhealthy state. The study used 25 metrics. A new report by WalletHub lists West Virginia as next to of the most obese state in the country, Mississippi. The state has the highest number of cases of diabetes in the USA. West Virginia has the second highest percentage of adults with high blood pressure. The report also found West Virginia had the third highest percentage of obese children. The Mountain State ranked first in health consequences, how people are directly affected. WV has among the highest rates of nicotine addiction approaching 25% of the population, a high risk factor with illness and death. Furthermore, the states high rate of opioid and meth addition, leading to early health problems and early death. The study also found pepperoni rolls to be as the most popular comfort food in West Virginia for 2018, in addition to sugar laden soda and sugar laden edibles.
