Mary Lou Boyles, 87, of Spencer

Mary Lou Boyles, 87, of Spencer WV passed away November 2, 2018 at Roane General Hospital. She was born July 7, 1931 in Beaver, PA to the late Orva M. and Nell Golden Conley.

Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Garrett Milton Boyles, a daughter, Jennifer Westfall and her husband Ken, and two sons, David and his wife Julia of Spencer, and Daniel and his wife Paula of Czech Republic. Also surviving are grandchildren Sarah (Chaiyos) Maines, Katie (Joel) Parker, Natalie Greathouse, Grace and Rebekah Boyles, Mary Kathryn (Chad) Stricklin, Elijah, Hannah, Claire and Isabella Boyles, and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother, Robert Lee Conley and sister, Dorothy Eleanor Atkinson.

Mary was a founding member of the Faith Baptist Church in Spencer. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed reading and gardening, and grew beautiful roses. She had an appreciation for God's creation from her horses to the birds she liked to watch from her window. Mary loved and served the Lord her whole life. She earnestly prayed for her family and church family, and her prayers and encouraging words will be missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5th at the Faith Baptist Church, Spencer with Pastor Rick Perrine and Brother Bill Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Zona. The visitation will be two hours before the service.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is in charge of arrangements.
