CALHOUN SCHOOLS RELEASES SNOW DAY INFORMATION

(11/05/2018)
Calhoun County Schools will utilize 5 Non-Traditional Instructional Days (NTID) for the 2018-2019 school year. This means that during a full day county-wide cancellation of school after the date of 11-8-2018, students will complete a packet of school work prepared by their teachers. That day of school will not need to be made up.

Upon cancellation of school, the superintendent or designee will include the phrases Snow Day Packet 1, Snow Day Packet 2, etc. Your child's snow day packets will be clearly labeled with what day they will be working on.

Some important information regarding snow-packets:

• Work should be returned on the following school day after a closure, however it will be accepted up to 5 days after the school closure.

• Assignments will be checked by teachers and returned to students with graded feedback.

•All students must participate in snow-day packets.
