GIRLFRIEND PICKS-UP JONES AFTER MURDER - Roane Police Testify

Roger Eric Jones, 30, of Chloe is charged with the murder of 83-year-old Oral "Sam" Jett, whose body was found next to his car on a rural road near Amma on Jan. 4, according to the Times-Record/Roane County Reporter. The paper reports at a preliminary hearing last week in Roane Magistrate Court, police testified that the suspect's girlfriend, Jamie Jarvis of Chloe, picked Jones up after he killed Jett..
