Elsie Kay Wyatt Miller, 74 of Spencer

Elsie Kay Wyatt Miller, 74 of Spencer, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2018. She was born on December 9, 1943 in Spencer, a daughter of the late Charley and Mabel Wyatt. She was a former employee of the Roane General Hospital in Spencer. Elsie is survived by a daughter, Melody L. McCroskey of Spencer; two sons Jerry (Denise) Miller of St. Albans, West Virginia and Leonard (Chris) Miller of Spencer; one grandson Alex Miller; two grand daughters Courtney (Matt) Cox and Ashton Miller and three great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Lee Miller, one brother Warden Wyatt and one sister Elizabeth Wyatt Miller. She loved her community, cooking, having parties, feeding anyone who would come to her door, gardening and flowers. But her most enjoyment came from her love of family, especially her special brother-in-law Tommy Miller whom she cared for deeply. Joint services with her brother-in-law, Tommy will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. Larry Greathouse and Rev. Jack Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Craig Hill Cemetery in Spencer. Friends may call from 10am-1pm Sunday at the funeral home.
