KANAWHA HOMICIDE — The Kanawha County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after a body was found Sunday in the Sissonville area.

The body of Ule Thomas Gibson, 30, of Sissonville was found in a remote area near Second Creek in Sissonville, according to a news release from the Kanawha County Sheriff's Office.

At this time, no other information has been released.

BRUTAL ROBBERY - The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested two brothers in connection to a violent armed robbery.

Dylan Jarrells, 24, and Zachary Jarrells, 26, both of Dunlow are facing charges, according to a news release from the sheriff's department.

Deputies said the two suspects picked up the male victim in the Fort Gay area Monday. Deputies said the suspects began bragging about the vehicle they stole and the victim wanted out.

Deputies said the suspects stopped the car, stabbed the victim multiple times and robbed him while he was in the back seat. The victim was able to get out and was ran over as the suspects left the scene.

The victim was able to go to a nearby home and call for help.

Both suspects were arrested in the Fort Gay area. Deputies say Dylan Jarrells suffered from a drug overdose and was rushed to Cabell Huntington Hospital. Deputies said Dylan was on parole for robbery and other charges in Kentucky.

Both suspects were taken to the Western Regional Jail.
