Roger Lee Burdette, 53, Mt. Alto

Roger Lee Burdette, 53, Mt. Alto, West Virginia formerly of Harmony, West Virginia born on November 22, 1964 passed away October 11, 2018 at Charleston Memorial Hospital, after a long illness. He was preceded in death by mother, Gatha McKown and step-father Glenn McKown of Harmony; grandparents, Burl and Sarah Payne of Speed, West Virginia and brother, James Bush of Walton, West Virginia. He is survived by his companion, Rosco Cottrell of Mt. Alto; brothers, William (Cheta) Deel of Walton, Timothy (Ruth Ann) Burdette of Clendenin, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday October 14, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the McKown's Cemetery at Mt. Herman Cemetery on Cox's Fork at Harmony with Pastor Joe Cantley officiating. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of the arrangements.
