The Health Insurance Marketplace is a way to find coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. Whether you're uninsured, or just want to explore your choices, the Marketplace will help find coverage that's right for you. With one application, you can see all your options and enroll. You can apply for private insurance, Medicaid, or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). You can apply for Medicaid and CHIP at any time during the year. Janet Heiney, Certified Application Counselor, is available at Minnie Hamilton Health System to help answer your questions. Appointments are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Evening and weekend appointments are also available. Call 304-354-5972 for more information. If you have Marketplace coverage now, watch your mail for important information about renewing your coverage. If you want to change plans for 2019, act by December 15 so your new coverage starts January 1.
