Calhoun Schools will close at noon Wednesday related to problems with the HVAC system at Calhoun Middle-High School, according to Superintendent Kelly Whytsell.

Whytsell said the school is having problems with air conditioning units that are leaking air and causing condensation in classrooms and tiles with filters needing to be changed with the system operating.

Whytsell said officials are hopeful that the process helps balance out the system.

Friday's early closing is related to a Faculty Senate meeting.
