LITTLE KANAWHA CRESTING BELOW FLOOD STAGE - Historic Crests Recalled

The Little Kanawha River was cresting below flood stage Friday, following some serious flooding of the West Fork of the Little Kanawha in the greater Chloe-Stinson area Thursday night. The Little Kanawha has crested at 32.66 feet at Grantsville, with flooding in the usual places like Cains Riffle (State Route 5) among other locations. Water was over Wayne Underwood Field in Grantsville.
