Wilma Lee Harris, 87, of Walton

Wilma Lee Harris, 87, of Walton, West Virginia died September 5, 2018 at her home after an extended illness.

She was born January 7, 1931 in Amma, West Virginia a daughter of the late Everett and Lilly Burgess Gibson. She was a homemaker.

Wilma is survived by three sons, Denver C. Harris of Spencer, Roger Lee Harris of Walton, and Phillip Edward Harris of Looneyville, West Virginia; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael, Denver, Jr. and Austin; three sisters, Mary Hodge of Ripley, West Virginia, Tansy Harris of Looneyville, and Diane Yoak of Grantsville, West Virginia; and five brothers, Charles Gibson of Grantsville, Dewayne Gibson of Alabama, Sanford Gibson of Kentucky, and James Gibson and Harold Gibson, both of Roanoke, Virginia.

In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Denver Harris; one sister, Charlotte Gibson; and one granddaughter.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Rocky Branch Cemetery, Walton, with Rev. Randy Whited officiating.

TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation or service at the funeral home.
