CALHOUN MAN ARRESTED IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE INCIDENT - DUI Arrest Friday Morning

Michael Metz, 32, of Grantsville was arrested by Sheriff Jeff Starcher Thursday and charged with domestic battery 2nd offense and domestic assault. The charges stem from an incident that occurred Wednesday between Metz and his wife. He was arraigned by Magistrate Rick Postalwait. Bond has been set at $80,000. He is in Central Regional Jail. Christopher Mark Sampson, 32, of Calhoun has been arrested with four misdemeanor charges early Friday. He was charged with DUI, no insurance, no registration, possession with intent to deliver. He is in Central Regional Jail. Danny Hale Burrows, 55, is in Central Regional Jail after being convicted of destruction of property.
