Hayward Lee Wilson, 65, of Cairo

Hayward Lee Wilson, 65, of Cairo, died August 26, 2018 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.

He was born Sept. 23, 1952 at Parkersburg, the son of the late Ralph P. and Gertrude Rollyson Wilson.

He had been employed by Troy Mills, Harrisville before retirement. He enjoyed good storms from his front porch with family and friends. He loved working on his farm raising beef cattle, hogs, corn and hay and never knew a stranger and would socialize with anyone he met.

Hayward is survived by two sons, Hayward L. Wilson, Jr. (Lori) of Keyser, WV, and Craig Wilson (Brooke) of Walker; two brothers, Wayne Wilson of Cisco, and James Wilson (Beth) of Newark; sister, Mary Ellen Cook (Charles) of Mt. Vernon, OH; sister-in-law, Colette Thomas; four grandchildren, Jayna, Haylea, Dylan, and Colton Wilson; many nieces and nephews and thankful for special friends, Bob Malson and Connie Metz.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Georgie Daralea Wilson; brother, Tom Wilson and sister- in-law, Terry Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Cairo Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville Wednesday from 5-8 p.m.
