CALHOUN COUNTY COMMISSION - Board of Equalization And Review February Dates

The Calhoun County Commission will meet on the following dates and times as the Board of Equalization and Review.

At which time they will review and examine the property books as presented by the Assessor.

If any person fails to apply for relief at these meetings, he/she will have waived their right to ask for correction in his/her assessment list for the current year, except on appeal to the Circuit Court.

Any citizen having questions about concerning their tax assessment, please attend one of the following meetings.

February 3, 2003 - 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
February 6, 2003 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
February 10, 2003 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
February 13, 2003 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
February 18, 2003 - 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The meeting on February 10, 2003 has been set aside to hear problems concerning oil and gas assessments. if you have problems with your oil and gas assessment you should call the County Assessor's Office to assure that the state Tax Department will have your file ready for the meeting.
