| E. Dewain Richards, 89 of Grantsville, WV died Monday, August 20th at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.
He was born in Grantsville, February 4, 1929 to the late Eli and Susie (Bennett) Richards. He was the last surviving member of Eli and Susie's 8 children.

He retired from Pennzoil and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He was a good provider to his wife and family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, gardening and working on his cabin. He especially enjoyed holiday gatherings and dinners with the family.
Surviving are his bride of 61 years, Greta Owens Richards; one daughter, Pamela Sheppard of Parkersburg; one son David (Cheryl) Richards of Big Bend; 2 grandsons, Josh Richards of Grantsville and Eric Engle and his fiance' Kayla Deem of Parkersburg; one granddaughter, Alicia Richards of Horner, WV; two step-granddaughters, Misty Richards, and Shaina (Matt) Hall of Grantsville; great grandchildren, Reagan Engle, Alex Deem, Laykin Richards, Waylon Robertson, Colton and Savannah Hall.  A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. with Reverend Alfred Hickman officiating.  Interment will be at Nobe Cemetery.
