WANTED TWO SHOOTINGS - Charleston police are searching for a man wanted in connection with two overnight shootings.

Eric Scott Appleton, 30, is wanted for wanton endangerment after police said he was involved in two shooting incidents early Saturday morning on the East End of Charleston.

A news release from the Charleston Police Department said the first incident happened in the 1500 block of Dixie Street when two vehicles were shot.

The second shooting happened near the intersection of Ruffner Avenue and Jackson Street when police said Appleton is accused of shooting at a person.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

The release said Appleton is 5 feet 11 inches and is about 173 pounds. He is believed to be driving in a red Chevy Sonic.

Police said Appleton is considered to be armed and dangerous.
