ROGERS ARRESTED FOR MULTIPLE COUNTS DOMESTIC ASSAULT-BATTERY - Officers Respond To Pond Run Incident

Calhoun Sheriff Jeff Starcher and Deputy Jason Chang responded to a Pond Run residence (Stinson area) at 12:20 a.m. Friday to what was reported to 911 as a domestic disturbance. Calhoun EMS was dispatched to the scene to a reported injured female involved in the affray with a male. Deputy Chang arrested Steven Ray Rogers, 34, and charged him with two counts of domestic battery and two counts of domestic assault involving his girlfriend and his girlfriend's daughter. Rogers was taken to Central Regional Jail with bond set at $8,000 cash only. In an unrelated incident, Timothy Alan Adkins, 24, of Calhoun, was booked into Central Regional Jail convicted of driving suspended DUI, 2nd offense.
