Some of the items stolen from Raegen's Memorial Garden

Thieves stole a large number of items from a memorial garden at the Arnoldsburg Park Tuesday, honoring the memory of 22-month-old Raegen McKown, who died in an accident in 2012.

The annual "Run for Raegen" fundraiser for Calhoun children is set this weekend at the park.

Seven rather expensive special lanterns and Sheppard Stakes were taken, in addition to bird feeders, a wood birdhouse, and ornamental angels and butterflies.

The Calhoun Sheriffs Department will be investigating, any information should be directed to that agency.
