She was born October 31, 1939 at Huntington, a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Perkins Kelly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Gay Miller in 1996; daughters, Medie Hall and Barbara Fields; son, Levi Miller, Jr.; grandson, Montana Hall; three sisters and one brother.

Survivors include daughters, Regina Marks of Spencer, Beverly Arthur of Milford, Ind. and Tammy Nichols also of Spencer; son, Mark Miller of Ripley; ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Carol was a former cook at the Roane County Sheriff's Office and caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed walks and working crossword puzzles.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 23 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Burial will be in the Bowers Cemetery, Spencer.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
