About 250 former graduates of Calhoun County High School attended the 31st Alumni Reunion in Arnoldsburg, recalling class mottoes from "Onward and Upward" to "Be Happy-Go Wacky."

The group had a meeting recognizing certain classes followed by a luncheon and min-reunions.

Organizers are saying this could be the last reunion with a lack of volunteer support, a number of the longtime supporters have died and others say they are unable to work on the project.

Most of the time was spent reuniting and talking about
school days at the old high school, closed in 1998

Unable to attend at the last minute was Virginia Long Haynes, who fell at O'Hare Airport in Chicago making the trip back, seriously injuring herself, and Alice Haddox Harold and Leota Kight Grimm, who was suffering illnesses.
