| Caden Christopher Longfellow, 13, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 29, 2018.
Caden was born on May 4, 2005. He is the son of Christopher Longfellow of Spencer, West Virginia and Trisha Longfellow (Scott Ludwig) of Ravenswood.
Caden enjoyed playing basketball, hanging out with friends, spending time with his dog Hendrik, and he had a love for music and rapping.
In addition to his parents, Caden is survived by his sisters, Eryn Longfellow (Dalton Jarvis) and Kiley Longfellow (Ricky Roberts); his paternal grandmother, Christie Longfellow of Spencer; maternal grandparents, Joel Carey and Karen Kleps of Spencer; his aunts, Brandy Strobbe, Dink Martin, Lisa Chapman, Melita Fincher, Debbie Jurkovich and their families; along with his uncle, Gabriel Carey and family, also lovingly known as "Uncle Boo".
Caden was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Louie Longfellow; his maternal grandparents, Donald and Janie Drake; and his cousin, Jacob Hively.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Pastor Dave Young officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Ripley, West Virginia. Visiting will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service on Friday at the funeral home. |
