MT. ZION MAN ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC ASSAULT, DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY - "Incoherent" Man Arrested By Police

A County Lanes, Mt. Zion man, Austin Lee Bailey, 21, was arrested by State Police Monday evening and taken to Central Regional Jail.

Bailey was charged with domestic assault and destruction of property, reportedly related to an incident at his grandmother's property, right before her death.

The criminal complaint says Bailey threatened his grandmother with a pipe allegedly demanding money, while doing damage to the property, according to witnesses.

Bond was set at $2,500 on the misdemeanor charges.

A Big Springs man, Gary Paul Ferrell, 60, was arrested and taken to Central Regional Jail.

He was charged with disorderly conduct, trespassing, and obstructing a State Police officer.

Numerous calls to Calhoun 911 alleged that Ferrell was randomly walking onto residents property, claiming he was incoherent.
