RITCHIE MAN TURNS SELF IN AFTER CHOKING WOMAN

A man accused of choking a woman until she passed out turned himself in to authorities in Ritchie County on Tuesday.

Timothy Lindow Jr., 45, of Pullman,faces a charge of strangulation.

He was arraigned in Ritchie County Magistrate Court after being taken into custody there by the West Virginia State Police on Tuesday.

According to court records, Lindow allegedly grabbed the woman from behind and squeezed his arms around her neck until she passed out. The incident allegedly happened on June 8 at a home on Goose Run Road in Pullman.

Deputies say the woman has recovered from her injuries.

Court officials say Lindow posted a $15,000 surety bond on Wednesday and was released from custody.
